Ebony comes from trees found in southern India and Sri Lanka. We use the heavy, black, fine-grained heartwood to make lucets. Since ebony heartwood is one of the most intensely black woods known, it makes a breath-taking lucet.
As a result of unsustainable harvesting, ebony wood is difficult to find and is usually the most expensive wood in stock. We only have available maybe 10 lucets a quarter and price will range depending on the market. Call now to see if we have this beautiful lucet in stock.
